ABOUT US
Founded in 1991 by Sushree Mathur, and joined by partner Rajat Kumar Mathur in 1999, Fountainhead is acknowledged as a leader in the country for its work in the domain of Architecture and Urban Design.
The studio’s most significant projects include the stations for the Delhi Metro Magenta Line – the busiest metro line in Delhi; the development of preliminary design for prototype underground MRTS station; construction, renovation, and upgrading of buildings & infrastructure in Jawaharlal Nehru University; and designing and detailing of Group Housing in Bathinda for Puda.
OUR WORK
Our work is grounded on the principles of Functional Design, an approach that celebrates cultural influences, a keen attention to detail and an inclusive process. We follow an iterative and incremental methodology of innovation and root our learning in history and local, and global context. We aim to craft benchmark solutions that address urban society's changing ways of living and transport.
